PROF. KENNETH WYNE MUTUMA is an advocate of the High Court of Kenya and the Managing Partner at the firm of Wyne and Associates. Prof. holds several academic qualifications, including a Doctorate and Masters in Law from the University of Cape Town as well as a law undergraduate degree from the University of Liverpool. He is also a qualified Architect having graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Architectural Studies from the University of Nairobi. Prof. Wyne is an avid researcher and writer and possesses accumulated experience and academic leadership in international law, ADR and corporate governance. He has published extensively and has authored several volumes on International Law, ADR and corporate governance including: Board Induction for State Corporations (2023); Family-Owned Enterprises (2023); Church and Governance; IHL: Themes from Africa, Belonging: Reflections on the Refugee Situation in East Africa; Mediation Practice in Kenya; Innovations and Disruptions in ADR; Mediation Compendium (2024); and the Compendium on Arbitration Cases in Kenya (2024). His latest co-authored books include The Animal Firm International Ltd (2025); Navigating Home Guards Syndrome (2025); Church Governance and Leadership (2025) with Jeremiah Karanja (CEO-ICS). He further serves as the Chief Editor of the Corporate Governance Journal, the Governance Practitioner Journals, the Eastern Africa Journal on International Humanitarian Law (EAJIHL), and the Journal of Conflict and Sustainability.
